My gg grandfather; George Michael CABLE married Catherine (Lakin) PLUMMER abt 1859 in West Creek, Lake Co., IN., I think. I found them on the 1860 census living in Center Twp, Ripley Co. IN. next to Catherine's parents, William and Monarcha (PLUMMER) LAKIN. I have no idea where George was born in PA and I wondered if a marriage index would have that information which would lead me further in my search; or if you have any ideas of documents that would contain birth info for him would be greatly
appreciated.
