Sue, you are wonderful! But now I have more questions...

Where would one obtain Rush County birth and death records between 1821 and
1882?

How far back (year) can marriage records be obtained at the Rush County
Clerk's office?

For marriage, birth, death and marriage records prior to 1821 (the birth of
Rush County), how can you determine which place to look: Franklin or Union?

Are there historical maps? My Jones line appears in Anderson Twp. P. O.
Milroy in the 1850 census. And in the 1870 census, there are listed in
District #97...where is that?

Thanks for the history. I have some early 1800 births to research, and every
little bit helps!
