I am looking for information on a particular groups of FORTNERs that immigrated to Rush county and surrounding areas from Kent county, DE during the 1840s or 50s. This migration involved a number of families, including the BILLINGSs and the LORDs.

I am particularly interesting in any family related to the Martha Fortner (? - 1859) who married James Lord Billings (1815 - ?)
