Kathy,
The Mrs. Joseph Hardwick listed in the obit was Mary A Hasty. He was my
Great Grandmother's cousin. Joseph Cantrell Hardwick was the on of John and
Elizabeth (Poynter) Hardwick, from Nicholas County, KY.
In the 1870 Rush County, IN census, living in this household is Sanford
Hasty, husband to Joseph's older sister Amanda, with their son John..
Sanford Hasty's father is Fielding Hasty. Mary A Hasty's father is George
Hasty. I do not know the connection, but possible they were brothers.
