Searching for more info about this man and his family. From the census it
looks like his father would have been from OH. He may have gone out to
Oklahoma for a period of time (dustbowl), but returned to IN.

I am researching his son James Buchanan McNeely (1857-1936).

Also curious to know who the parents of Mary Davis Slaughter. Was she the
child of Jeremiah (1787-1871) & Rebecca Logan(1803-1868) as might be
suggested by Jeremiah's mother's maiden name fo Davis?

Any assistance would be appreciated.
