I have some records on a Moses Wright in our family born in Franklin County,
VA in 1828, moved to Indiana with his father in 1839 (Don't know where in
Indiana) and then took the Oregon Trail to Oregon in 1851.

I have a biography written in the local paper in 1906 with stories of thier
meetings with hostile Indians en route west and participating in the
California Gold Rush.

Moses of not our direct line but married my Great Aunt. Is this of
interest?
