Sheila,
The City Cemetary is located betweenn Penn St and River Road on the North side of Shelbyville, it is the first cemetary of Shelbyville. I believe tha there is a listing of all tomstones for the City Cemetary in the Genealoigy Department of the Shelbyville-Shelby County Library. I am going to try to go there tomorrow, I will check it out and see if he is listed.

Is there a listing of those buried in the City Cemetery??

I was told that a John McKenney was buried there. John was born in 1819 first
married (1) Elvira Crostwait (2) Rebecca Eads.
I believe that John is the father of Pollard McKenney died 1917--Forest Hills.

Anxious to obtain any information about John and his wives and children.
Barb, Would there be an obit available. Until I locate the stone I do not
know when he died.
Thanks for your help . Anyone out there have any knowledge about him, etc.
oh, yes, where is the City Cemeterty located????
Sheila Knobeloch
