Looking for a connection to WATERS of Knox, Starke Co., Indiana. My grandfather Francis Marion CANAN was born to a Unknown WATERS and Corabelle CANAN/CANAAN in Knox, Indiana on February 9, 1906.

My grandfather said that his mother and father were never married and he was raised by his uncle, Fredrick CANAN/CANAAN, brother of Corabelle CANAN/CANAAN. My grandfather never knew his father at all, I'm just trying to feel in a gap on the family tree.
