Peggy - you sent me the Scott, Elston book you did many years ago. I have updated that book to the tune of about 104 pages plus pictures, marriages licenses, etc. At this point it would cost me about 45.00 to reproduce. Elizabeth VanKirk Scott died in the mental hospital after her son Charles placed her there (some say so he could get the family farm). Records to place her there are in the Starke Co. Courthouse. We have visited the McElrath Cemetery and headstones are sinking.
My husband is the son of Chester C. Scott and Dorothea Mae Brooks.
