I would like to thank everyone for the response to the. I was beginning to
wonder if someone made it up or not. According to some paperwork that I came
across, some of my relatives are buried at the Soule Settlement. I find
nothing about it on the Steuben County pages, let alone anything on the
Soule/Sowle families that had settled there. Where would someone find out any
information on the families that lived in that area? William (below) was my
6th great grandfather. Thanks

in Swansea, MA, and died Abt. 1778 in Triverton, RI.. He married (1) Jemima
Baker August 29, 1733 in Swansea, Barnstable Co., MA, daughter of Joseph
Baker and Isabelle Sherman. He married (2) Keziah Gifford Abt. 1738, daughter
of Stephen Gifford and Mary ?.

I
took off the internet is list it as Sowle (Soules Settlement) Pleasant Tp=
.
Directions: E. side of SR127 N, Just S of CR 200N
