DIED.
BROAD - Near Angola, Monday, June 18th, 1877 ERNEST L., son of George D. and
Elizabeth Broad, aged 11 years, 7 months and 12 days. Elizabeth's maiden name
was DUTTER and her brother, Henry DUTTER or DOTTER is buried at Circle Hill
Cem. in Angola IN.

He was the son of George D. BRODE who died and is buried in Ohio. We can't
figure out what he was doing in IN. at age 11 or who he was with. Also could
you check for a sister to Ernest named Hattie BRODE ? We found reference to
guardianship for Hattie but the film is bad and we can not make out what it
says.

In 1870, Ernest was on the census for Portage Co. Oh.
