I am wanting information on the deaths of my gg grandparents.



Dudley was in the 12th Indiana Infantry and died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana 9
May 1865. I don't know if he was buried there or sent back to Indiana to be
buried. Abigail was living in Scott, Steuben, Indiana at the time. She
died in 1876 in Steuben County, but I don't have the exact date. I know the
death records don't go back that far, and I don't know where else to search.
I don't know the names of either of their parents. They had 8 children:
Heman, Harry D. Hiriam Wallace, Harlow Bigsby (my g grandfather), Horrace
W., Harriet A., Henrietta, and Harris V. all born between 1823 and 1841.
The first 2 were born in Chautauqua County, New York, and the last 3 in
Ohio.



Any help will be appreciated.
