n the 1830 census in Switzerland, IN, there was a Lewis M. Hinman (page 348)
Males: 2 5-9, 1 10-14, 1 30-39; Females 2 less than 5, 1 10-14, 1 30-39. In
both 1830 and 1840 he was living "next door" to Oren Bradford. Oren married
Roxina or Roxana Hinman, who was born in NY or VT in 1808. Oren and Roxina
married in Switzerland in 1830.

We're trying to locate Roxina's family and hoped the proximity of Lewis
might indicate a family connection. Does anyone know anything about Lewis or
Roxina?

Land records show the presence of Arnold Hinman and David Hinman in the
1820s and Andrew and Lorenzo Hinman in the 1840s.

Would be happy to share info.
