Subject: [TURNER-DNA] The Turner-Parker Pedigree

I have just uploaded a new release of the Turner-Parker Pedigree to WorldConnect. It lists the descendants of William Turner and Mary McLemore of Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

Wm. Turner was born in 1645 in Aberdeenshire. Records of the Marischal College show that a Wm. Turner enrolled there in 1656 and 1658. Because of the persecution of the Covenanters, he and his wife moved to Northern Ireland and, later, to Snow Hill on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay. In the years after the Revolutionary War, his descendants migrated away to Georgia and Indiana. Still later, they moved to places even further west.

I have consulted as many sources as I could find, but I cannot vouch for their accuracy. In particular, documentation on the generations from Wm. to Elisha Turner, Jr. is sketchy. Please consult the sources if possible.

Sincerely,

Phil Turner
