Daniel Bedford (if it's the same one) is a well known Tippecanoe Co. Civil War vet. His picture is on the Tippecanoe Co. Genweb site somewhere. Use the search or search rootsweb for him. Also Bob Kreible (sp. ??) of the Lafayette Journal and Courier just finished a bio of him in the history section of the Sunday newspaper. If you like I can copy it and forward it to you.
