Happy to have been able to help.
Our volunteers and staff in the library are great people.

Subject: [INTIPPEC] Research in Lafayette

Madelaine,

Check out this website: http://www.tcha.mus.in.us;

I spent several hours looking at one thing or another in the Courthouse
(a
lovely building, but the lady that was there was brand new, and really
couldn't help me find anything at the time...) Finally, at nearly the
last
minute, she found the address for the Tippecanoe County Historical
Association. Within 30 minutes (no kidding!) I had my great-great
grandfather's certificate of Naturalization in my hands. They closed
about 5
minutes later.

A wonderful resource - spend time visiting with these folks, and they
will
tell you and direct you exactly where you need to go.

And, anyone on the list who might represent this organization, Thank
you!
Thank You, Thank YOU!! It has been about 2 years since I received that
document, and I've not been able to go back to offer my thanks in
person.

Happy Hunting,

Connie Spicer
