ENNIS F. COE, one of Lauramie Township's most prominent and influential young farmers, resides on section 21, where he has a fine farm, containing eighty acres of well improved land. MR. COE is a native of Tippecanoe County, born in the township where he now resides, the date of his birth being October 2, 1860. He is a son of ELIJAH W. COE, who is still a resident of Lauramie Township. The father being a farmer, our subject was reared to the same occupation which has always followed, and in connection with his general farming he is engaged in raising stock.

MR. COE was united in marriage in March, 1884, to MISS MARY ELLIS, whose father, JOHN J. ELLIS, is a resident of Lauramie Township. This union has been blessed with one child, a daughter named BESSIE, who was born Februray, 1885. MR. COE is a young man of excellent character, honorable and upright in all his dealings, and is classed among the respected citizens of Lauramie Township.
