MRS. JOHN R. CHANCE
Mrs. Morina Jane (Waite) Chance, 79, wife of John R. Chance, died Saturday at 1 a.m. at the her home, 1317 South Twenty-third street. A lifelong resident of Lafayette, she was a member of Hope Chapel. Besides her husband, she leaves a son by a former marriage, Edward B. Knickerbocker, Indianapolis; and two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Detrick, South View, Calif., and Mrs. Grace Burris, South Bend.

Friends may call at the Soller and Baker funeral home after noon Sunday. Services, Monday at 10 a.m. from there; Rev. Peter Heemstra officiating. Burial in Springvale Cemetery.

NOTE: Parents of Morina Jane Waite were Samuel C. Waite and Frances Jones.
