Well, your actually probably not going to believe this but I was just flipping thru websites looking for anything that might have to do with Vanderburg co. and hit this one that listed people who died in Indiana. it was listed in ABC order so i hit the name Smith and it listed a whole list of Smiths. I didn't find anything the first time because I was looking for ABC order there also. But then I noticed that some of the names were out of order so I went back and found Hilary Smith listed and Melissa Smith also. My Friend told me that she remembered they were buried in Evansville, and that they had it written down that he died in 1949 but that was it. Not the Cemetary or anything. it also had her parents listed William Smith and Charlotte Smith. Someone sent me an message that his parents were Henry and Matilda Bryant Smith. I found them on the 1880 census for Warrick co. under H.M. and Matilda Smith. Son Lemuel H. Smith 8 years of age. But my Friends Aunt said H!
ilary was born in Gibson co. Ind but i could not find that either. It has the date of death for Hilary as jun 2, 1949 and 77 years of age and Married. And for Melissa it had jul 11, 1972 82 years of age widow. It also said something about Hilary dying on something like Welfare or the County? I can't remember now. But that was it. I can't even tell you if i could find that page again. it was pure luck. Sorry Sue
