I too have an Indian link .
This has puzzled me for years .
This would have been before most of our times but here goes nothing.
In the late 1920s early 30s my great grandfather William Titus,was thought to
be part cheroke or lumbee,
His best friend was an old Indian man who lived in twelve points & He had an
apt on Nth 17th St near stop 5 Tavern, the buliding is gone now,He and my
great grandfather would sit on the floor on a rug and smoke a peace pipe,this was
told by my now 87 yr old uncle who was 9 or so at the time and scared by the
way they chanted afterwards,Id love to know who the old Indian man was that
live upstairs in that apt building..
Any Input would be very welcome
