Hi Group!
Happy Labor Day Weekend! Hope you're all having a ball!
We have John Powell to thank for the index to "The First 100 Years", a book
by Judge Addison Beavers, that contains a history of schools in Boonville! He
sent the index to the Warrick County site so you could see if your ancestor
was mentioned in the pages. He also volunteered to do lookups for the book!
YEAH for contributors and volunteers! There are over 4,900 names listed!
(Unfortunately, my Holley ancestors that were dropped on this earth, grown,
with children and no parents, as mine were, aren't in there!) I hope yours
are! With almost 5,000 names, lots of you will get some additional
information on your families! Thanks again John! And to Judge Beavers,
thanks for writing a valuable reference book for the county! If any of yall
know where this book can be purchased, please let me know so I can add it to
the books for sale page.
