Subject: [IOWA] marriage records

I just got back a marriage record request from the state. I don't know
what county the marriage took place in and I have a 3 year span. They
said it would cost me $10 for every county and year they
searched....well, thats alot of counties. Does anyone have any ideas
how I can get this info without paying all that money? The marriage
took place in 1914, 1915 1916....
