Anyone interested in 1916 and there after should read at least some of
the following biographies and histories written by Tim Pat Coogan. They
are factual, objective with many references and footnotes. They are
large and "text book" like, therefore not always easy reading but a must
for students of Irish History. The titles include:
Michael Collins
The IRA
On the Blanket
Eamon de Valera, The Man Who Was Ireland
The Troubles
The Irish Civil War ( Pictorial History)
