I really hope someone can help with an obituary and any other information
with two people.
My great grandparents. James O'Donnell and his wife Susan"White"Doherty.
They were born in Carndonagh County Donegal (or close by) in or about 1845.(I
think). I think they may have been married at the Sacred Heart Church in
Carndonagh . They had several children. Mary Anne O'Donnell born July 28, 1873/4,
in Carndonagh(have birth certificate-shed become my grandmother) Neil, John,
Philip, Denis, and Margaret(Maggie). I know at least some of the family
including Susan came to US in late 1800's, some stayed in Boston area, others went
out to CA, settling in San Jose area. I have a photo of Susan, but there is no
identification as to who or where/when taken.
James O'Donnell and Susan"White"Doherty, are two of the biggest brick walls
for me.
Mary Anne O'Donnell married Patrick Bradley born in Carndonagh May 10,
1863/4, his parents were Bernard Bradley and Mary McGeoghan., and Bernards parents
were Corneilus Bradley and Mary Dogherty. Mary Anne and Patrick were married
in 1902(April 17th) at St Peter's Parish in Dorchester Ma. They settled in
Malden Ma and had the first 4 of their 6 children while living there.
Sorry to go on like this, but thought the more information, the more help I
may get.
I would appreciate any and all help.
