Hello Everyone, I am new to the list, although I have been on a mailing list
in England, also Im quite new to genealogy,
I have only recently discovered that I have Irish roots, my great grand
parents were born in Ireland, Their names were Thomas and Rosannah FALLOON,
Rosannah was formerly called MAC RAVY. They were both born in 1842. They
came to England (Whitehaven) when they were in their early twenties.
I have subscribed to the list in hopes that someone may recognise their
names or how I can go about finding out where in Ireland they originated
from, and when did the Irish index records start? I dont know anything
about Irish archives/records. I know its a tall order but I have know other
information to go on. Id be very grateful of any help.
