France NEVER occupied Ireland. The French influence and settlement came
thru grants made to FRENCH NORMAN Lords of the ENGLISH King.
Those French Norman lords were in England because Several dynasties of
English families were cohabitating in both England and France. But they
sent those french-normans to Ireland in their roles as ENGLISH Kings and
Lords. The English are the ones to blame (as usual in Ireland). LOL.
Ireland's been occupied by enough people, let's not blame the French for
anything they didn't really do.

I need to tell you that France occupied Ireland for 500 years and there
are
a lot of Norman or France names in Ireland or that were intermarried .
