Sorry, I din't mean to sound like I didn't want you to get help. I
just thought some of the posts directed to you were harsh and some other
folks might like to get a word in edgewise. This list IS about
genealogy but it's also about Irish culture, Ireland, Irish myths...in
other words Irish Roots.

In the vein of suggesting something useful, have you checked for a
single name list or message board with de Haviland or Havelin on
rootsweb? How about in the IGI?

You said you had tried everything...could you be more specific and maybe
someone will be able to suggest something else you might not have
thought of?
