this is how it works . its who ever ware the pants i know i lived
there . and in ireland it was usually the man. so my brother was named
for dad and his dad and his dad and his dad . then the next three for
his uncles , and last one for other g dad but he died soon after . with
the g moms, also his mom and the two g moms and it was like that
with most . and when they died the wife's maiden name was not put on the
head stone. so you can't find the woman in the family . that may be to
change soon with so meany wife's working now, and in co cork you will
find the woman buried with there owen parents a lot , that was when the
man asked for her hand . he would say how would you like to be buried
with my family . so if the marriage was not a good one . she had the
last word , and she will be very hard to fiend . from one who knows
