Newtownbutler is 85 miles from Belfast and about five miles from Clones,
where my Mother was born. It's population was 480 at the 1971 Census.
I drove through Newtownbutler last week on a camping trip from Belfast
to Sligo, then to Dublin and back home. My wife and I used a 1979 VW
Camper on the trip. Made us feel like young ones again. <G>
