My dad used to tell a story about when he was growing up in Tillamook,
OR during the depression. He and his friends would often open the milk
bottles on old Mrs. Willis's porch and drink the milk. She never knew
who the culprit was.
In 1946 he went out on a blind date with mom, and 2 weeks later they
were married. He had to confess to her about Mrs. Willis's milk, since
mom was Becky Willis - her granddaughter.
