Hi, I am also searching for information on the FERGUSON families of Monaghan
and Fermanagh. Also HALL/BAILEY.
George Herbert FERGUSON B: 10 May 1819, Co. Monaghan, Married 1 January
1844(5), Co. Fermanagh, to Anne HALL, B: 28 March 1819, Co. Monaghan. They
both immigrated to America in 1847, bringing with them, Ann's father John
HALL (1794) and his other 2 youngest daughters, Margaret and Esther. He and
his wife, Jane BAILEY(C:1796), had 8 children. Only know the names of the 3
youngest girls. Jane died in Ireland, shortly before they left for America.
George FERGUSON was the son of James FERGUSON (C:1790) and Margot HUSS.
James FERGUSON was the son of Samuel FERGUSON (C:1748) and Margaret HALL.
John HALL's parents MAY have been, George HALL (1762) and Margaret
D------?---.(1773) Anyone know anything about these families? Thanks,
