It would depend where in Galway they lived. My father in law was born
and raised in Gortavoher which is in the Beagh Parish and he was
baptized in Shangalish Church but you will also find family records in
the Tubber church which is in Co. Clare in the Kilkeedy Parish. This
area is to the west between Gort (Co. Galway) and Crusheen (Co. Clare).
