Looking for Toomeys who immigrated to Mass.
Mary Minahan marr Daniel Toomey in Limerick in 1889, after his death she was brought over to Mass. by her sons William, Patrick and Francis to the PITTSFIELD, MA area.
Hope to find someone else searching.

Sent a letter today to Thomas Toomey, co-author of "An Antique and Storied Land -a History of the Parish of Donaghmore" - which I was able to procure thru Library-Loan, the book gave much information, including under Clergy the names of 2 nuns and 1 priest connected to our family - I spoke with one of the nuns in Ireland a few weeks ago - what a thrill, she could be my 3rd cousin!
