Hi Folks
I posted a reply to David Furphy telling him that there were four Furphy
records in Griffiths for Monaghan (in fact the only ones for Ireland). In my
enthusiasm I forgot to paste the details. I promptly posted the correction
but can't see safely arrived as a message to the Irish-American List.
I'll repeat the paste job. Interestingly, there are three Furphy families
living in the Republic today - all of them in Dublin. I'll forward their
details if they are of interest. There are a larger no. in Britain (mostly
in Northern Ireland & Scotland). If you haven't made contact with them
already I'll post them to you as well.
