Oh yes, I am aware of the citizenship arrangement, but I have a bit of a
chip on my shoulder because when I visit my cousins I am now and for always
will be an American even though I have more Irish blood than some of them
do. Go to a pub one night and set that torch off and you'll end up in bed
pretty early that night.
I am reminded of the story of the scientist who attempted to recreate the
ocean in a lab and they brought in architects and built the most wonderful
aquarium that had ever been seen except they could not get any ocean life to
live in it till the dropped in one dropper full of sea water. Even the big
sea things they are doing all around the United States they still require
just a minimum of real sea water to make it work. So I guess you have to
have one dropper of being born in Ireland to become a real Irish.
