Winifred O'Donnell is the one to thank. She did the
research and the writing. She is posting the history
to the NY Irish list and I got her permission to post
them to a few other lists that I admin.

I have found the history extremely interesting and
easy to read. My grandfather was born and raised in
Thorold, which is just a bit north of Fort Erie. His
mother's parents were from County Kilkenny.
