Ann DOOLEY married Peter HUGHES (most likely in Ireland, since records indicate they both were born in Ireland, as were their 8 children.)

Ann Dooley Hughes immigrated to Worcester, Mass., with the couple's 8 children, around 1870. I have not found any evidence that Peter immigrated with them. Ann died in Worcester on 9 May 1896, at the age of 70.

I wish I had more information about this family. All I know is that Ann's parents were James DOOLEY & Mary DOHERTY. I don't know where in Ireland the family came from. I don't know Peter's parents' names. I don't know which port, or the exact date of Ann Dooley Hughes' ship's arrival.
