Pat set up this list for Irish genealogy. She posted clearly for all to see from the beginning what this list's limits are. There's no surprise here, no change, no bait & switch. And she's being insulted for that? For selflessly offering us a forum for our research about the topic of our choice?

If you want to offer your religious and political views, you must be aware that you can go off-list, someplace else, on your own time, without hijacking Pat's fine work and the rest of us along with it.

As for me, I'm here for Irish genealogy. Anybody want information about ancestral tribes and clans? I'm available.

In the meantime, many thanks to Pat for her grace and generosity.
