Thank you so much for clarifying. I was getting rather puzzled when people were talking about being 6 ft or more! I only met my grandfather twice and I knew he wasn't very tall -- I verified this with my father. Even though he wasn't tall he had sons 6'1, 6''2" and 6'4" - one son was 5'8" but he was hit by a car when younger. I think he most likely wasn't tall as people didn't always have the resources for a proper diet back then. I would also think there would be a weight requirement althought that is probably more needed today than back when- as well.
