Mars Opposition happens about every 26 months and the next Opposition occurs on November 7, 2005. It will be a very nice object to view in the telescope. It will be about 20 arc seconds across and it will be very bright. The prime times to observe it will be between now (early am) and Feb. 2006 (early to late evening).
