I will send in an American quick version with an Irish wink and a little
shake of the Shillelagh .

2 cans apple pie filling
1 box spice cake mix
1 cup melted butter
1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees--

Pour 2 cans of pie filling into a 13 x 9" pan. Take plastic sack containing
cake mix and press to dissolve any clumps. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly,
right over apples. Do not stir. Pour melted butter over that. Bake for 40
to 50 mins., until brown on top. Vanilla ice cream hits the spot with this
fast, easy, and delicious dessert.

Kilkenny.
