Certainly a unique individual in every way. There obviously has to be a
certain amount of pain associated with his disability, but he is one of the lucky
ones who are able to pay for state-of-the-art prosthetics. This winter, he
was doing a show in Dublin and his leg broke one hour before the show. The only
legs he had were home in Kilkenny and they are his legs he uses for riding
which are much shorter. So, the legs were sent for, pants altered and the show
went on with a much shorter Ronan. The president of Ireland was in the
audience and this might have intimidated a man of lesser "stature" but not himself.
