Subject: [IRISH-AMER] [DINEEN] Michael Dineen, brother to Rev. P.S. Dinneen,b. 1850's

Would like to post the following:

Michael Dinneen was a younger brother of the well known Irish lexicographer,
Rev. Patrick Stephen Dinneen. The family was raised in the eastern part of
County Kerry, in the townland of Carran. The father was Matthew Dinneen, the
mother was Mary O'Donoghue. They were married in the year 1850 in a townland
known as Na Shidheain Ruadh or Sheans, on the west side of the river Beheenagh
. They had ten children, seven boys and three girls. Michael emigrated from
Ireland to the US when he was a young man.

His last known address was 236 Brook Street, Waukesha, Wisconsin. He and
his wife had four children, two boys and two girls. One of the girls was named
Alice.
This is a bit sketchy, but it is all the information I have.
