Irish-American Farmers

In New Braintree, one of the best farming towns in
Massachusetts, several of the good farms have recently
been purchased by Irishmen, who are among the most
industrious and economical farmers of the town. As the
Yankees quit the old farms the Irish are buying them
and working them advantageously, and thus taking rank
among the best citizens of these old towns.
