Thankyou for your kind reply.. my shea formerly shee were from the close to
Callan townlands of Whitesland.. Cappahenry coolaghmore Coolaghflags
Foulksrath... I met Members of the Cody family [distant relatives]for a
wonderful week of researching around KK in august..Pete Hanley and Kate have
detailed family trees of their family line..i think the connection there as
bck in the 1700's late a Catherine shee married a Cody..they all live in the
USA now;;They definitely had a Shanahan connection..My gt gf Edmond added
the ;o; when his first child was born in San Francisco thomas born 1870'my
Cody connection was from what I can see from the 1700's. the shea homes have
on some properties been restored..an amazing journey but elusive family..but
beautiful people of the the original townlands still around there and so
welcoming..a Clancy / Shea connection also still there Paddy Clancy of
Kilkenny Crystal..i have detailed maps and info of the areawhich I am happy
