This may be a big DUH to everyone else, but I just learned it this weekend.
Ya know how frustrating it is that www.cookcountygenealogy.com doesn't have
a soundex search
option? So you have to guess at the spellings, or the translation of the
spellings?
Well, the wonderful Steve Morse (www.stevemorse.org) has created a soundex
search for
CookCountygenealogy.com. Go to his web page, click on Cook County Vitals,
and fill out the form.
It pulls up, on one screen, multiple spellings.wonderful! You still have to
have a login for the Cook County site.
