Hi Noreen, I am also searching for Maloney/Molonys. Here is some info I have from the FHC film of St. Jarlath's RC church in Chicago. It was the baptismal list from 1862 - 1870.
1867 Parents: William Maloney & Ellen Connor Child: James Maloney
1869 Parents: William L. Moloney & Ellen E. Connors, Child: Agnes Moloney

My Molonys (with the various spellings rampant) were John Molony & Bridget Ray(also spelled Rea). John's death certificate say that his parents were John Maloney & Katherine O'Day. I think they were from Co. Limerick.
