Many of my dates for my KELLY/KELLEY and FLYNN ancestors are approximations based on ages
shown in census records.

KELLY/KELLEY - I believe that my great-great grandparents, Patrick KELLY and Mary Diana (FLYNN) KELLY were both born in County Galway in Ireland. Patrick KELLY was born ca 1825 or 1826. Mary Diana FLYNN was born in 1823 in County Galway. They were married ca 1850. They migrated to the United States
before 1859 and lived in the Pittsburgh area before moving west to the state of Minnesota. Patrick bought land in Fillmore County in Minnesota in 1859.

The children of Patrick and Mary Diana (FLYNN) KELLY were:
Margaret, Anna, Michael, Peter, Thomas, Mary and Ed KELLY.

Patrick KELLY died in 1893 in Portland, Oregon. Mary Diana died Dec. 27, 1903 in Deer Park,
Washington.

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT:
Patrick and Mary Diana (FLYNN) KELLY were both born in Ireland but I don't know the name of the town or county of their birth. I don't know the names of the parents of Patrick KELLY and Mary Diana (FLYNN) KELLY. I don't know the year they migrated to America but it was before 1859. I don't know whether they were married in Ireland ca 1850 and migrated as husband and wife or if they met in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in the United States and were married there ca 1850 before they moved to Fillmore County in Minnesota.

If anyone has any connection to this family, I would love to hear from you.

Mary Yonan
