Hi,
I am trying to find the marriage / birth details of my great
grandparents Thomas & Sarah MCENENY nee MCCULLOCH. They were living in Salford area
from 1878 until 1890 where they had four sons Robert & Thomas , Robert &
John.They later moved to Barrow in Furness , in the 1901 census . All census
records from 1881 -1901 say they were born in Ireland .Thomas & Sarah must have
married in Ireland also as I can find no marriage records in England.If any
one is researching the MCENENY name in Salford /Wigan area I would be pleased
to hear from you.Until I can find some clue to where they were born , ie
county I have well and truly ' hit a brick wall '.
