So I tried a web search for Ireland+Uriah McGee and found this on www.familyhistoryforum.co.uk
"Looking for grandmother Rosetta Matilda McGee born 17/08/1888 Ireland, father Thomas D'Arcy Mcgee mother Sarah Blake.
Siblings Cornelius, Jobe, URIAH,Edward, Mary, and Brittania.
Told the family moved to England 1891"
Another web entry had this about Thomas D'Arcy McGee
1825 to 1868 born Carlingford Co. Louth
Emigrated to Boston, editor of Boston Pilot.
Shot and killed in Ottawa where he was M.P.
Might be the same family given the unusual names, and as Thomas was shot due to political affiliations maybe there was a reason for Uriah changing his name?
